À-La-Carte Rejuvenation at Maison Lutétia
From a 19th-century mansion in the verdant 17th Arrondissement, Maison Lutétia is France’s premiere spot for aesthetic treatments. It’s the name on everyone’s lips for the most sought-after hair transplant clinic in town, but unless you’ve planned well ahead, we’re guessing you won’t be signing up for a 3,000-follicle reorg on a whim. Instead, book your injectable re-ups, a skin peel, lymphatic drainage, body sculpting, PRP for hair loss, as well as hair mesotherapy. You can get a hair loss consult on site (for that potential future transplant, or to get ahead of it), or dust off your locks with the maison’s on-site barber.

Premium Service at La Barbière de Paris
Legendary French barber Sarah Hamizi carved a name for herself in a male-dominated field, and for a while ran the famed La Barbière inside Hotel de Crillon. She has now grown the La Barbière experience across Paris, and in addition to a fresh fade, La Barbière offers premium treatments that can include everything from waxings and other hair removal means, to hair coloring, facials, and a glass of Champagne, should you fancy.
It’s worth noting some of our other favorite spots for a haircut around town: Les Garçons Barbiers keeps it current, Alain Maître Barbier is a storied legend, and David Mallett Salon blows out the salon-caliber competition.

Craft a Bespoke Scent with a Master Perfumer Stephanie de Bruijn
The best noses are all trained in France. Master perfumer Stéphanie de Bruijn even grew up in the region of Grasse, home of the storied Grasse Institute of Perfumery. And while there are plenty of ways to procure a bespoke perfume in Paris—you can hire out Guerlain for a cool €130,000–de Brujin offers a custom creation for just €800, ideal for the soloist or for a couples’ activity. If you can’t fit in a session at her studio near Musée d’Orsay, you can also schedule an online session wherein she will narrow down your note selects and present two customized options—one of which you will bottle as a result. (The in-person session will go exactly that way, too.)
And if you want to immerse yourself in the best French perfumes—and the world’s most luxe options as well—we’d be remiss not to highlight the fragrance floor of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, which is like Disneyland for scent lovers. Block off a few hours to work your way through a fraction of the selection.

Reset and Refresh at the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc—and on the Dior Spa Cruise
This is the capstone experience for any visit to Paris. Aside from being perhaps the best spa in Paris—inside perhaps the best hotel in Paris—the spa menu and zen-setting experience here remain unparalleled. We’d recommend combining various “Happiness Shots” together to customize a morning or afternoon of various experiences, with the house’s best skincare products and experts deployed for the sensory treatments.
And, aptly timed to the Olympics, the next Dior Spa Cruise is docked each day between July 30 to August 11 for an escape from the city and Olympic action; you can book 2-hour sessions that include a treatment and dining experience, starting at €1,150 (about $1,250). The masterful French menu was crafted by chef Jean Imbert. (The Dior Spa Cruise also offers yoga and pilates classes on board.)

Wear Your Feelings at Sisley’s Boutique NEUR|AÉ
With a decade of neuroscience research to back its launch, NEUR|AÉ is the 2024 skincare launch from Sisley Group Laboratories (yes, that Sisley of the famed hair care label). The new assortment focuses on the external effects of tiredness, sadness, and stress on the skin, and this pop-up in Le Marais is where you can experience the new label firsthand. In addition to shopping the assortment of creams, serums, and boosters, you can book 10-minute facial treatments and acupuncture, and even get an “emotional portrait” to best understand the skincare treatments that are optimal for your specific emotional wear. If the website fails to load the booking engine, it’s probably a regional thing (you’ll see it from the EU, but not the US, for example). So, visit the pop-up at 48 rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris, or email them at [email protected] for an appointment. You can shop the assortment globally though, at neurae.com or inside most Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom stores.
