Simon Ourian M.D launches AI-personalized beauty supplements

“For over 25 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people look and feel their best,” said Dr. Simon Ourian, M.D., a cosmetic dermatology doctor with clients including Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, and co-founder of the Simon Ourian M.D. skincare brand.

“We’re now taking our philosophy of personalization and beauty to the next level, creating a wellness routine that is as unique as you are.”

The brand, which started out offering AI-powered personalized skin care regimes, has now taken this concept and technology to expand into the wellness sector with customized supplements, Daily Ritual.

To create Daily Ritual, Simon Ourian M.D. uses AI technology to analyze customers’ wellness profiles and formulate the supplements, which target key concerns like energy, mood, gut health and overall vitality.

According to the brand, this approach “not only reduces inefficiencies in traditional supplementation but also ensures meaningful, visible results.”

Its formulations are developed with the guidance of a panel of nutrition experts, and each supplement is created “using premium, bioavailable ingredients.”

The capsules, which are manufactured in Switzerland under strict quality standards, are vegan, gluten-free and free from allergens. They feature plant extracts and bioavailable ingredients such as lion’s mane, turmeric, ginseng and Montmorency cherry.

Daily Ritual is available via a subscription service, with the supplements delivered every 90 days. In the UK market, the monthly subscription costs £40 per month.

Customers are advised to take two capsules every day with breakfast, and the service also offers periodic reassessments to adapt the formulas to evolving wellness needs.

According to the brand, this launch is just the tip of the iceberg in its expansion plans. It is set to launch a full range of innovative wellness products in late February/early March, which will “offer even more tailored solutions to those seeking wellness support.”

A need for ‘more than just topical treatments’

As one of Hollywood’s most in-demand cosmetic dermatologists, Dr Ourian noted that he has worked with countless patients over the past 25 years and has “always believed that skin care should be personalized.”

“What we’ve created with this brand is an extension of this philosophy I’ve had, which is personalized and science-backed formulations that cater to real people with real concerns,” he said.

“My goal was to simplify this process by creating products that are effective and tailored to individual concerns.”

Dr. Ourian added that he believes future skin care will be about more than just topical treatments.

“People are increasingly aware of the holistic nature of skin care; understanding that great skin isn’t just about what you apply in your skin but also how you live your diet, your hydration, your sleep level, your stress levels and overall wellness,” he explained.

“All play a very critical role in how your skin looks and feels. Your skin is basically the mirror of what goes on in your life.

“And what I see for the future is a shift towards a more integrated approach. Products will continue to be scientifically advanced but will also work in synergy with lifestyle changes.”

The brand’s cofounder Shari Jafari added that she believed the next big leap for the skin care category would center on the integration of wellness solutions and skin care technology as consumers become increasingly educated.

“This means really combining skin care with nutrition, activity levels, mental health, sleep, and really creating a comprehensive profile for the consumer’s overall health,” she said. “The future of skin care really lies in making it more interactive, holistic and personal.

“Blending this cutting-edge science with lifestyle insights can transform not just the skin but the overall well-being, and that is truly exciting for us.”
