Nordstrom Fall Sale 2025: Best Haircare Buys, Reviewed
No string of words makes my ears perk up faster than “there’s a sale happening at Nordstrom.” I typically see it as the best time to restock my haircare routine with all of my favorites (and even give some new ones a try), and thankfully, the retailer is having a massive sale that began this week and will continue until Sept. 23—so if you were looking to save big on a Dyson hair tool, now’s the time to act.
My routine is stacked with moisturizing shampoos, deep conditioning masks, and more products that keep my curly hair looking fresh and healthy at all times, but there are a few things that are currently in need of a refresh now that I’m down to my last drop. From heavily discounted hair tools to styling products to help your mane look its best, read ahead to find some of my all-time favorite haircare products available during Nordstrom’s Fall Sale.
Best Shampoos
A clean scalp that’s free of flakes and product buildup is vital to hair health, which means it’s equally important to have a shampoo somewhere in your routine that can cleanse without being too harsh on your strands. Below, you’ll find two of my favorites.
Pattern Beauty
Hydration Shampoo
I’ve long been a fan of most of the products in Pattern Beauty’s lineup, but this shampoo is close to perfect, especially if you have curly or textured hair that’s on the drier side. It gets the hair clean without making it feel brittle, but it also smells heavenly.
Philip Kingsley
Flaky Scalp Cleansing Shampoo
My scalp is prone to flakiness, so whenever I need something a little more heavy duty after skipping a wash day or two, this does the trick. It has a really cool, refreshing feel, which helps if you’re someone who’s prone to irritation in the scalp area, and it also comes with a nozzle that makes it easier to apply directly to your skin.
Best Styling Products
As a curly-haired girlie, styling products are my lifeline, but not all of them are made the same. Because my hair is textured, I like to rely on formulas that can help define my curls while eliminating frizz and not leaving behind flakes and crust.
Aveda
Be Curly Advanced Coil Definer Gel
This gel has a soft, almost-watery texture, but it dries down without hardening or sitting on top of the hair. Also, a very small amount can go a long way, and I can use a small palmful to achieve defined, tight curls.
Moroccanoil
Curl Control Mousse
I simply can’t live without mousse. This formula in particular defines curls while keeping the hair free of frizz and flyaways. It also doesn’t harden on top of the hair, so you don’t have to worry about your hair having that crunchy feeling.
Best Masks & Treatments
Not only is my hair tightly-coiled, it’s also newly colored, so if I don’t treat it regularly with conditioning hair masks and serums, I start to experience issues like dryness, split ends, and breakage. I have a ridiculous amount of masks and serums under my sink as I type this, but if you were to ask me which formulas I can’t get enough of, my answer would definitely include all three of these.

It conditions with ingredients like shea butter and avocado oil, but it also features a special technology that closes the cuticles to help that moisture seal itself in.

Peptides are most often associated with traditional skincare products, but they’re also the secret ingredient in this scalp serum. It’s a non-greasy formula that you can apply during your nighttime routine if thickness and fuller-looking hair is what you’re after.
