Natalie Portman Stuns Going Makeup-Free in Plunging Navy Blue Swimsuit

Natalie Portman made a rare beach appearance as she joined star-studded revelers like Heidi Klum, Tom Brady, and Nina Dobrev in celebrating New Year’s Eve in St. Barths this year. The Star Wars alum kept the winter blues at bay, kicking off 2026 with a sun-soaked beach day on Thursday. Portman went makeup-free for her New Year’s Day swim, turning heads in an ultra-plunging navy blue swimsuit that dipped all the way to her stomach.

In photos shared by Page Six, the beaming actress could be seen enjoying the crystal-clear water in a one-piece Lenny Niemeyer swimsuit. The dark blue swimsuit contrasted its high-waisted, fitted swimsuit design with a Grecian-inspired top, which featured thick straps, a relaxed silhouette, and a plunging neckline that bared her chest all the way down to her belly button. A matching tie cinched in her waist while adding a flirty, coquette-coded detail to the monochromatic swimsuit style.

Portman went makeup-free for her beach day with family, styling her brown hair in middle-parted waves. After splashing around in the waves, the Black Swan alum dried off in the sand with a pair of minimalist black oval sunglasses.

Portman took to Instagram on Friday to reflect on all the “light” in 2025, including “amazing filming experiences with Cathy Yan and Lena Dunham,” “trips to Italy, Turkey, and Kenya,” as well as “lots of amazing time with friends and family.” The star also teased what new projects fans can expect in 2026 with a candid photo of her looking unrecognizable, thanks to a major chop and dye job. Hinting at her upcoming appearance in The Gallerist, which is set to premiere at Sundance Film Festival this year, Portman could be seen winking at the camera as she showed off a platinum blonde chin-length bob with slightly side-swept blunt bangs. 

The Fountain of Youth actress, who’ll play gallerist Polina Polinski in the upcoming film, leaned into character as she paired her new retro bob with a black cardigan, a white collared shirt, and a pair of black slacks.
