Influencer Tennille Jenkins’s Favorite Anti-Aging Beauty Products

Tennille Jenkins is that girl in every sense of the word. Just ask her 317,000 followers on Instagram—@thetennillelife_, where she documents her travels, outfits, beauty routines, and daily life. From her glowy, seemingly poreless complexion to her flowy OOTDs that embody “quiet-luxury,” to her yes-mentality towards all things self-care, I’m buying whatever she is selling. At 47, she’s proof that the makings of an “It” girl are ageless, and that you’ll never regret spending a little extra time taking care of yourself. “I give myself permission” she tells InStyle when it comes to all things self-care, “I see a lot of mental health benefits from it.” 

Her philosophy towards beauty is both simple and indulgent. She prioritizes nighttime rituals and sleep, “It gives my skin time to repair,” she says, adding that while she calls herself a “makeup girlie,” she prioritizes “less and a light hand.” She’s a major fan of Martha Stewart’s go-to glowy foundation and concealer, too, which is just confirmation of her great taste.

I spoke with Jenkins to learn the ins and outs of her beauty routine and all her favorite products. “I’ve been a huge fan of this serum for years and years,” says Jenkins. And she’s not alone, the formula has been a staple in the beauty industry for decades. It contains hyaluronic acid and peptides to visibly reduce fine lines, boost firmness, even skin tone, and increase hydration. It also helps pores look diminished over time. 

La Mer Rejuvenating Night Cream

This luxe night cream contains retinol-alternative MRA-3 that does the heavy-lifting of reducing visible signs of aging while you sleep, which Jenkins swears by for preventing “deep wrinkles.” “They just know what they’re doing,” she says of La Mer. “I felt a tear drop hit my eye when I hit pan on it.” 

Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum

“Each ingredient is stabilized in its own little chamber,” says Jenkins, of this triple-threat serum that contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and niacinamide. “It’s dewy and hydrating in one multi-targeted application.” The three-part system helps improve volume loss, reduces wrinkles, and brightens dark spots. 

RoC Retinol Correxion Under Eye Cream

“I think every woman over 40 should add a retinol eye cream or serum to their routine that can target puffiness and fine lines,” explains Jenkins. She describes the texture of this potent $20 find (also Sarah Jessica Parker favorite) as a “lightweight serum.” 

Cyklar Large Body Contour Tool

“This year I started a whole body care gua-sha routine at night, and it’s how I wind down everyday.”  She uses this Cyklar body contour tool with their Neroli Vitamin C Body Oil to aid lymphatic drainage and boost blood flow. “I’m in the season of being selfish and really giving myself permission to take care of myself,” she says.  

Osea Undaria Cleansing Body Polish

“Body care is just as important as my scalp and face,” notes Jenkins. “The texture is so, so fine and turns into this jelly, milky consistency.” She likes using a glowy bronzer stick on the body for an all-over radiance and this Osea scrub is how she removes the sticky, oily residue. She also credits daily body exfoliation for keeping her skin smooth, soft, and pimple-free, especially in the summer when she’s reapplying SPF.

Jenkins swears by LED red light therapy, and wears her Shark Face Mask nightly while she completes her post-shower body care routine. “I have seen the pores on my cheeks and T-zone look smoother.” While you can’t technically shrink pores, which she confirms, you can make them less noticeable—and that’s the next best thing, right? The formula is just *chef’s kiss* in terms of quality, feel, and coverage. “Depending on where I’m going, it can be five or six swipes or two swipes—it’s the most melty coverage.” The stick formula is the best medium for controlling how much coverage you’d like. She says she’s also a huge fan of the brand’s blush sticks and concealer. 

RMS Beauty Un Powder

“This is the only powder I will use under my eyes and along my nose,” says Jenkins. “The texture is so fine, it’s great for setting the face without settling into fine lines or looking crusty.” It has an ultra-fine texture, providing sheer, matte coverage. She describes it as “undetectable,” and always keeps multiples on hand. I ordered mine minutes after interviewing her for my eczema-prone complexion.

If she’s not reaching for the Westman Atelier foundation stick, she loves this glowy skin care-meets-makeup pick from Live Tinted. “They really understand the nuances of undertones,” says Jenkins.
