I had the chance to check out SOKO Mrkt during ESSENCE Festival of Culture, and one of the most packed booths I encountered was the one held by Black Girl Vitamins. There was a line of people eager to get into the space, filled with bottles of the brand’s wellness offerings, multivitamins, beauty supplements, and more. There was even a woman dressed in a bottle costume, helping to draw more prospective customers.
But Black Girl Vitamins, which was founded in 2021 by Maxine Manager, doesn’t need help attracting customers.
