- Shoppers credit it for firming skin.
I like to think of myself as mostly impervious to influence, hype, or other recommendations when it comes to beauty products—I’m a 10-year industry veteran, after all. I’ll admit, however, that my resistance is completely thrown out the window when Martha Stewart enters the equation; I’d blindly follow that woman into a bear trap. Thankfully, that hasn’t happened, but instead, it’s led to me trying makeup and skin care products I may have otherwise missed. Most recently, that includes Furtuna Skin’s Biphase Moisturising Oil.
While I await the launch of Stewart’s new skin care brand, Elm Biosciences, I continue to pester her makeup artist extraordinaire, Daisy Toye, for insight into what touches her epidermis. Toye told me she preps Stewart’s skin for makeup with this “amazing…and really hydrating” Furtuna oil. After glancing through the ingredients and shopper fanfare, I can see why. Plus, it just so happens to be on sale for $79 at Dermstore with the code CHEERS.

The Furtuna Skin Biphase Moisturising Oil is like a vitamin IV drip for your face. Magnolia oil prevents (further) signs of aging by targeting many of the proteins that cause it. Vitamin C enhances your skin’s natural collagen production, sheds dullness, and evens skin tone. Plus, it contains numerous botanical and organic ingredients (mallow, asparagus, and chicory) that are anti-inflammatory, healing, moisture-retaining, and plumping.
The proof is in Martha Stewart’s ageless complexion, the numerous ingredient studies, and hundreds of reviews that are littered with phrases that refer to it as a “holy grail” product and “liquid gold.” One shopper called it a “must have” thanks to the “big difference in firmness” it makes. Another said they noticed “a fresher, plumper, smoother” complexion with “minimized wrinkles,” after two months of use. A last shopper called it “the most effective face oil” for brightening skin and reducing pore size.
